1) Kantawgyi Palace Hotel
  The new owner of Kantawgyi Palace Hotel becomes Htoo Trading Company Group and the former owner was Baiyoke Hotel Group from Thailand. The hotel includes 208 rooms and is mainly constructed with teak.

  Inle Max Hotel
  Max Myanmar Group is now constructing Inle Max Hotel in inle and the hotel possess 66 bungalows with 3 room categories; suites, presidential suites & executive suites. The swimming pool, restaurant, conference room and business center will be included as hotel's facilities. It will be ready by coming year 2011.

2) Max Ngapali Beach Hotel
  Max Ngapali Beach Hotel (owned by Max Myanmar Group) is now under construction and it'll come out by early 2011. The total rooms will be 70 bungalows.

3) Myanmar Treasure Resort
  Myanmar Treasure Resort in Ngapali is now under construction and the owner is Myanmar Treasure Hotel Group. The location is at the place of former Ngapali Beach Hotel and there will be 90 sea view deluxe rooms. It's supposed to be ready by 2011-2012.

4)  Sky Blue Hotel
  The Sky Blue Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw owned by Mann Pyi Dagon Company is now being constructed and totally 102 rooms and will be ready by June 2011. The land area is 15 Aka and there will be included the restaurant, wedding hall and gym centre.(Ref: Myanmar Times Journal: Vol. 25, No.549)

1) MAI (Myanmar Airways International)
  MAI started the new route of Yangon-Bangkok-Singapore-Bangkok-Yangon with effective from 15th Nov 2010 on everyday basis.

2) Vietnam Airline
  The Vietnam Airline started the 1st Flight of Hochimin-Yangon route with effective from 2nd March 2010. The special round ticket fare will be only US$ 110 exclusive of airport tax and fuel charges and the validity will be 25 Nov-25 Dec 2010 for this special offer. The flight schedule is in every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Pagoda
  Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda (Bago) to get a new gold coat
A project to guld the main stupa at The Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda in Bago will start on 1st December 2010.

 MAI SKY SMILE LOUNGE just opened.

MAI (Myanmar Airways International) had just opened the "MAI SKY SMILE LOUNGE" at the Departure of Yangon International Airport on 30th September 2010. It's for all the passengers not only MAI's but also for all the airlines' to enjoy the luxurious and comfortable setting of the lounge at USD 8 per person.
The amenities and services provided are:

• Free internet access
• Latest magazines and newspapers
• Delectable mix of finger foods

Constructing the Extension Hotel Rooms in Nay Pyi Taw

There are 10 hotels in Nay Pyi Taw, the Royal Capital of Myanmar although not the main tour destination, there should be 50 rooms (minimum) in each hotel, as per the instruction of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. And hence, all the hotels in Nay Pyi Taw have been constructing more rooms as extension to serve the guests who will attend the 1st Gems Show which will be held on 17th November 2010 in Nay Pyi Taw.

New Destination of Air Bagan

The Air Bagan Ltd. will be starting the new destination to Phuket Beach (Thailand) starting December 2010 on every Monday and Friday. The plane is the Fokker and the capacity is 100 seats.
