DAY 01: YANGON - KYAIKHTIYO
Upon your arrival at Yangon Airport, our representative
and or guide will meet you at the airport and drive to
Kyaikhto via Bago, a land of fantasy - Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda and
its environs. Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, one of the holy places for
Myanmar Buddhists, is situated on a peak of ridge. The
pagoda itself - the way it stands, the place on which is
established - is a great wonder. From the Kyaikhto based
camp, over 14 km from Kyaikhto, begin the exhilaration
journey uphill passing through 27 camps. On the ridge, enjoy
the wonders of Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda and its environs. The view
of landscape from there is breath-taking. Overnight at hotel
in Kyaikhto.

DAY 02: KYAIKHTIYO – BAGO – YANGON ( By
flight/boat )
After breakfast, climb-down from the Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda
and drive to Bago. In Bago, we will visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda,
one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar; the famous
Kalyani Sima (ordination Hall); Shwethalyaung, the most
lifelike of Reclining Buddhas; Kyaikpun Pagoda, four high
and huge Buddha images; and Bago Market. After lunch (own
arrangement), drive back to Yangon and visit Bogyoke Market
for shopping; Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, a huge reclining Buddha,
Karaweik Hall, a Royal floating barge on the Royal Lake for
a photo stop and in the late afternoon, visit the Shwedagon
Pagoda, a world famous golden stupa. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 03: YANGON - THANLYIN - YANGON
After breakfast, excursion to Thanlyin by car. Tour
highlights: - Kyaik Khauk Pagoda and Kyauktan Yele Pagoda.
Then drive back to Yangon and proceed to Yangon
International Airport for your departure flight to home or
other destination. |
