DAY 01: ARRIVAL YANGON

Upon arrival at Yangon airport, check in your hotel. Your journey begins with an afternoon tour through Yangon’s colonial–style city. Visit to Sule Pagoda, not a very significant pagoda but it is at the centre of the town with Mahabandoola Garden on one side and the surrounding with interesting historical buildings of government and law courts. Continue to visit to the Botahtaung Pagoda with the sacred hair of Lord Buddha enshrined. Evening take a walk to China Town where can see the many vendors on the platform and can buy the variety of Myanmar products. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yangon.


   

DAY 02: YANGON – KYAIKHTIYO ( By car )

After breakfast, drive to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock). On the way stopo at Bago (84km – 1 1/2h). and visit to the highlight Kyeik Pun Pagoda, ShweThalyaung Pagoda and Shwemawdaw Pagoda. Then proceed to the Kin Pun ‘base camp’ (110km – 3 1/2h) and continue 11 Km leads to Yathetaung with a steep road by open truck. From there start have a walk about 45 minutes to Kyaikhtiyo pagoda. On arrival you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. Overnight at Mountain Top Hotel.
 

   

DAY 03: KYAIKHTIYO – HPA AN – MAWLAMYAING ( By car )

After breakfast, came down to Kin Pun base camp and continue to Pha An (the capital of Kayin state) about 130 Km nearly 3 Hour drive and visit to Kawtgon natural cave and Saddam natural cave. Then proceed to Mawlamyaing about 70 Km 1 ½ hour drive. Overnight at the hotel in Mawlamyaing.

   

DAY 04: MAWLAMYAING – KYAITKAMI – MAWLAMYAING ( By car )

After breakfast, drive to Kyaitkami about 90 km nearly 2 hours drive and visit to Yela Pagoda. On the way stop at Thanbyuzayat, the site of the Commonwealth War Cemetery, lies at the foot of the hills, which are, buried men who lost their lives in the building of the Burma-Siam railway. The total number of burials here is 3,771. Evening sightseeing in Mawlamyaing to Kyeikthanlan Pagoda, Mahamuni Pagoda, Queen Sein Don Monastery and First Baptist Church (Judson’ Church). Overnight at the hotel in Mawlamyaing. 
 

   

DAY 05: MAWLAMYAING – YANGON ( By car )

After breakfast, drive back to Yangon about 299 km (8 hours drive). Arrive to Yangon in the evening and overnight at hotel in Yangon.
 

   

DAY 06: YANGON SIGHTSEEING ( By car )

Full day sightseeing in Yangon including , Kaba Aye Pagoda, Gems Mart and Chaukhtat Gyi Pagoda. Afternoon shopping to the Bogyoke Market (Scotts market ) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems store. Then visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitors a spectacular show of lights and shadows. Overnight in Yangon.
 

   

DAY 07: YANGON DEPARTURE

Leisure time till transfer to Yangon international airport for departure flight. Home Sweet Home.
